Yes. You can book a move for the same day or schedule it for a future date that works best for you. You'll typically receive multiple quotes from available movers in your area, giving you the flexibility to choose based on price, reviews, and availability.

How are movers selected?

We work with trusted local moving partners who are matched to your request based on location, vehicle type, availability, and pricing.

Is there a fee to get quotes?

No. Requesting and comparing quotes is completely free. You only pay when you choose to book a mover.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZB876546. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

What we collect

When you message Cary

We collect your WhatsApp phone number and display name, along with the contents of your messages, including text, photos, voice notes and listing links you send us.

To arrange your move

We collect collection and delivery addresses, access details such as floors, lifts and parking, item descriptions, and your preferred dates and times.

When you book

Payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits of your card. We do not receive or store your full card details.

Automatically

We collect basic analytics about how our website is used.

Why we use it

We use your information to:

Understand what you need moved.
Identify a suitable mover.
Arrange and confirm your booking.
Facilitate payments and refunds.
Help resolve issues relating to a completed job.
Contact you about a booking you have made.

Our lawful basis for processing your information is the performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service.

Who we share it with

Your mover

To quote for and carry out your job, the mover receives the item details, collection and delivery addresses, your first name and a contact number.

Stripe

Stripe processes payments and securely holds funds. Stripe is a separate data controller for payment data and has its own privacy policy.

Meta (WhatsApp)

Your conversation with Cary is carried over WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

How long we keep it

We retain different types of information for different periods:

Booking and payment records: 6 years, as required for tax and accounting purposes.
Conversation history: 24 months.
Information about enquiries that do not result in a booking: 12 months, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to:

Provide you with a copy of your personal data.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Delete your personal data.
Object to how we use your information.
Restrict how we use your information.
