What does it cost me?

The customer pays a £7 booking fee on top of your price. It doesn't come out of your quote.

How do jobs reach me?

Do I have to take every job?

No. Accept what fits your day, ignore the rest. No penalties, no minimum.

Do I set my own price?

Yes. Customers can counter your price up to three times, and you can counter back with whatever you think is fair. Nothing is booked until you both agree, then the customer pays.

When do I get paid?

The customer pays as soon as you agree a price, so the money is secured before you drive anywhere. The full amount you quoted is released within 30 minutes of the job being confirmed complete.

What do I need to join?

A suitable vehicle with a valid licence, current insurance, and hands-on moving experience. We check all three, which also means you're not competing against operators who cut corners.

How many jobs can I expect?

Honestly, we can't promise a number yet. Cary is new in Cardiff and demand is building week by week. What we can promise is that every job you get is a real customer who has already paid, and you're never charged for any of it.

Am I tied into anything?

No contract, no commitment, no exclusivity. Keep your other work and use Cary for whatever fits around it.

How do I book a mover in Cardiff with Cary?

Do I need to download an app?

No. Cary runs entirely inside WhatsApp. There’s nothing to install and no account to create — if you have WhatsApp, you can book a move.

Do I need to list everything in my house?

No. Tell Cary your property type and number of bedrooms and a typical inventory is filled in for you. You confirm it and mention anything unusual — a piano, an American fridge, an unusual number of boxes. Most people finish in under two minutes.

How many quotes will I receive?

One. Rather than sending you a spread of estimates to compare, Cary passes your details to a verified local mover and returns a single firm, bookable price. If it isn’t right, negotiate directly with the mover in the chat, or ask for a different mover at no cost.

Will the price change on moving day?

No. Your mover sees the full description before quoting, including access, parking and unusual items. If something differs significantly from what was described, they raise it with you in advance rather than on the day.

Does it cost anything to get a price?

No. Asking Cary for a price is free and there’s no obligation. You only pay when you choose to book.

Every mover on the Cary network is checked and insured before taking jobs, and each carries a customer rating based on completed moves.

Payment is taken in the chat by card and secured by Stripe. Cary doesn’t store card details. Bookings can be cancelled in the chat and refunds return to the original card.
