How many prices will I get?

Cary brings you one suitable, bookable price at a time. You don't have to compare a long list of movers. If you're not happy with the price, you can ask Cary to negotiate or find another mover.

Can Cary collect something I've bought on Facebook Marketplace?

Yes. Send Cary the marketplace listing on WhatsApp. Cary uses the listing to understand what needs moving, works out the collection and delivery details, finds a suitable local mover, and brings you a price you can book.

Who are the movers, and how are they checked?

Cary works with local movers across Cardiff and South Wales. Before taking jobs, movers are checked for their vehicle license, insurance, and moving experience. You'll see the mover's profile before you book, and customers can rate movers after their move.

How do I pay?

You can pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay and other supported payment methods. When you're ready to book, you'll be taken to Stripe's secure checkout.. Cary doesn't store your card details.

Is there a booking fee?

Yes. A £7 booking fee is added when you confirm your move. You'll see the booking fee and your total before you pay, so there are no surprises.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. You can cancel through Cary at any time. Cancellations more than 24 hours before your move receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a £7 cancellation fee. Refunds are returned to your original payment method within 24 hours.

What areas does Cary cover?

Cary currently covers Cardiff and South Wales, including areas such as Barry, Penarth, Caerphilly, Bridgend, Newport and surrounding areas. We can also help with moves between these areas, subject to mover availability. If you're unsure whether Cary covers your collection or delivery address, just ask us on WhatsApp.

No. Tell Cary your property type and number of bedrooms and a typical inventory is filled in for you. You confirm it and mention anything unusual — a piano, an American fridge, an unusual number of boxes. Most people finish in under two minutes.

How many quotes will I receive?

One. Rather than sending you a spread of estimates to compare, Cary passes your details to a verified local mover and returns a single firm, bookable price. If it isn’t right, negotiate directly with the mover in the chat, or ask for a different mover at no cost.

Will the price change on moving day?

No. Your mover sees the full description before quoting, including access, parking and unusual items. If something differs significantly from what was described, they raise it with you in advance rather than on the day.

Does it cost anything to get a price?

No. Asking Cary for a price is free and there’s no obligation. You only pay when you choose to book.

Which areas does Cary cover?

Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Penarth, Barry, Caerphilly, Bridgend and the surrounding South Wales area. Moves within and between these areas are supported, as are collections from anywhere in the region.
